We love creating books with purpose that come from places of passion and expertise, and just because your project might not fit with our catalogue, doesn't mean that we don't want to help!
We offer editing and formatting services that will help get your book ready to query or print, while always keeping your voice and message at the heart. We want to help elevate your story and make it the best that it can be. We offer contracts with clear expectations and deadlines, comparable professional rates, and a promise to listen and collaborate with you through multiple rounds of work.
Need multiple services? You can bundle any of services into a package and save 20% on editing!

We are also willing to work out flexible payment plans. Finances shouldn't be a barrier to making your project the best it can be, so talk to us about our payment options!

How it works:
Step 1
Contact us
If you are interested in working with Rabbit’s Helm Press for editing or formatting work, contact us through our website or email. We will set up a time for a consultation to discuss your project, provide a free sample edit of a portion of your work, and work out a personalized quote.
Sign contract and pay deposit
Step 2
After working out details like pricing, deadlines, and expectations, we will draw up a contract for your review. All projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. This can be paid via e-transfer or PayPal. Once the deposit is made, our editor will get to work.
The Editing Process
Step 3
Once the first round of edits is complete, you will be sent a document with all tracked changes and comments. All other rounds of edits will be completed according to the agreed-upon deadlines and delivered on time. and one that is a “clean” edited copy. For formatting projects, you will receive 2 initial documents for your review -- one Word doc for ebooks, and a PDF file for print books -- which will then be proofread and any necessary changes made.
Final Payment and Delivery
Step 4
When the final document is ready to be delivered, the rest of your payment will be due (unless we have agreed on a payment plan). Once that is paid, your final documents will be delivered. You will have two weeks after delivery to request any minor changes.
